Human Resources Managers’ Association of Uganda

PROFILE

The Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda (HRMAU) was launched on 15th July 1999 and is a registered professional membership association for human resource management practitioners as well as public and private institutions with a human resource function. It is affiliated to the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) and a founder member of the African Federation of Human Resources Management Association (AFHRMA).

Our ambition is to play a central role in shaping the training of future HR professionals and academics, to charter, mentor and coach practitioners to an international level of competitiveness, and to advice on the accreditation of various HR training syllabi coming up in the institutions of higher learning.

Our Values
The Association has core values to guide stakeholders in shaping its working culture and facilitating effective implementation of programmes and activities. They are;

	Professionalism demonstrated by members as they execute the Associations activities and through best practice at their workplaces.
	A learning Association: Willingness of members to continuously set and follow standards and embrace changes that will steer the Association forward and transform it into a model organization.
	Which in turn is a member of the World Federation of Personnel Management Association.
