The Human Resource Manager,s Association of Uganda (HRMAU) was established with the mission is to institute standards, enhance development and promote HRM as a strategic function in organizations. Our vision is to be a leading professional association in people management that enhances competence, productivity and quality of life.

The aims and objectives of the Association:

	To encourage and promote the development of the Human Resources Management practice.
	To maintain and foster Human Resources Management practice in commerce, industry, trade, government, para-government, voluntary organisations and others.
	To foster and maintain high professional standards among Human Resources Practitioners.
	To act as a pressure group to safeguard the professional interests of the members.
	To organise/arrange meetings, tours, lectures, discussions, conferences and seminars for practitioners and/or management or for both to enable them exchange views, ideas, experiences, information, etc, in the interest of the profession.
	To provide consultancy and advice on Human Resources Management practice and operations to national institutions and any other interested parties.
	To act as Clearing House on Human Resources Management practice.
	To publish periodically a bulletin containing information and news of general professional interests for circulation to members.

The Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda (HRMAU) in collaboration with Future Options Consulting Ltd is organizing a morning biz to take place on 29th March 2007 from 7 am to 9am at DIDIS Hall, Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala.
